2009 STC-CWC Tech Pubs Competition

STC technical publication awards are among the highest accolades conferred to work produced by professional technical communicators. The Canada West Coast chapter is pleased to announce its official Call for Entries for the 2009 Technical Publications Competition. The competition is open to everyone, members and non-members alike. Corporations, not-for-profit organizations and independent technical communicators are invited to participate by submitting their best example(s) in any or all of the three categories which are:

1. Technical Publication
2. Online Communication
3. Technical Art

Winners will continue to compete in the STC International competition. Seize the opportunity to showcase your publications to the world!

Torn between multiple publications? Do not fret! There is no limit to the number of entries, so submit all the works you are proud of. Individual entries can be submitted to more than one category. A separate entry fee applies to each submission.

Each entry is judged on its own merit by a panel of industry professionals against STC International criteria which reflect industry best practice. Submissions are eligible for an Award of Merit, Award of Excellence, or the highly coveted Award of Distinction, which qualifies the work for further submission to the STC International competition and world-wide exhibition.
